In this station, I decided to go to Amsterdam and Lisbon for a week with an old schoolmate that we have planned travel for a year, we have difficult time matched during the year, but we finally made it. In this blog, I will focus on the days that I stayed in Amsterdam. I picked the early flight again; it was terrible that the transportation to this airport was extremely inconvenient, I have to wake up at 3 am to take the national express to the Luton airport. In addition, I was really unsatisfied about the airline, the check-in deck opened an hour before the flight, and it was a long queue waiting for the check-in desk. After I arrived Amsterdam, I still spent quite a lot of time on waiting for Uber to the accommodation. Luckily, I was happy with the apartment that I booked, it made me feel like home, and the landlady was lovely. She prepared a brilliant, excellent breakfast in the next day morning. The apartment also had a cat that calls "Ming." She always observed me from somewhere. In the afternoon, I went to Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, they were both excellent, but personally, I preferred Van Gogh Museum more, perhaps I have learned more stories of him since I was in primary school, and I can finally see the printing which was not from the books. Consequently, I went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. After that, I went Amsterdam Tower to wait for the sunset; it was beautiful sunset viewing from the higher point. Finally, before I went back to the apartment, I went to the Red Light District, which was a horrible experience that I ever had. In the next day, I visited the Zaandam because of the windmill, but they did have different shop and museum can visit. Because of I flew to Lisbon at night. Thus, I choose some places to go, such as the local museum and the candy factory museum, cheese shop and one of the windmills that made timber. This place should spend a day. Unfortunately, I did not get it this time. Before we went to the Airport, I went to "Body Worlds" which was a lovely exhibition and recommended to go. In conclusion, while I have not spend a lot of time in Amsterdam this time, I would come back next time. There are not restaurants can be recommended this time, because the time limit, I spent more time on sightseeing rather than eating. Thank you for reading this short blog. Hope you will continue to visit my next blog, which will relate to Lisbon.
