After a busy week working in the university, me and one of my schoolmate decided to have a short break to refresh our mind for the approaching work. We discussed where to go for a while, we determined that we would like to go to Gibraltar for a week at the end of the conversation. The trip was managed on a rush. Thus, we did not have any choice for the hotel booking. We chose a morning flight; we had to take a train to the airport at midnight, it was tired, but it saved money, and we have more time to spend on the trip. After two and half hour flight, we arrived at Gibraltar where had the smaller airport that I ever been. Passport control was efficiency, not even need to queue. We took a taxi to the hotel because there was not Uber in this small island, the road trip took approximate 20 mins. The hotel was not luxury, but we got a room with an incredible view, there were two balconies in the room with sea view. The View from the Room Balcony We went to Gibraltar Botanic Gardens for a walk before dinner; It was good to stay close to nature. The Gate of the Garden The second day, we booked a boat trip to visit the dolphins, which took roughly two hours. While we saw quite a lot of dolphins, it was difficult to catch on the camera. They are Too Shy to Show Their Face After that, We took the cable car to the top of the rock, as we arrived, we got a warm welcome from the monkeys. They maintained a nice pose for people taking photographs as always. Some of them were funny. . Enjoying the Sun with Her Sexy Pose Subsequently, We did some climbing and went to Skywalk Gibraltar, which you can walk on the glass in the cliff; and Windsor Suspension Bridge, which connected two precipices that needed some courage to walk through the bridge. Lastly, We went to Apes Den, where got lots of monkeys were waiting for you. Windsor Suspension Bridge The rest of the days, we went to Irish Town, City Museum, Sacred Heart Parish Church, Europa Point and Lighthouse. Lighthouse We went to a beach for an afternoon to relaxing and photographing; we choose the quieter place and fewer people, the experience is incredible. Sandy Bay Because of there were no taxes in Gibraltar, we spent lots of time on restaurants. Firstly, I would like recommended some restaurants in Queensway Quay, where behinds the pier with a beautiful sunset and sailings. 1. The Louge Bar & Gastro Bar 2. Rendezvous Chargrill Secondly, there were some restaurants and pubs near Ocean Village recommended: 1. O Reilly's Irish Bar Lastly, it is the restaurant in the rock hotel; we have a dinner on there. In conclusion, it was a nice break during the summer, got tan, enjoyed the sunshine, drinks and foods. Hope you like this blog.
