Today, I visited Sanderson Hotel with my friend for the "Mad Hatter's at Sanderson Hotel Afternoon Tea," which was a horrible experience I have ever had in London.
In the beginning, the waiter brought us near the bar, which was boiling in there; and then We asked for sitting outside, and he said: "It was fully booked for today, and cannot rearrange table for you”, as we saw outside, there were plenty of tables in the garden area. After that, we asked the manager to rearrange the table. After 30 minutes of waiting, sitting and doing nothing, we got our table in the garden area eventually.
Furthermore, we ordered our food and teas. We thought it would be excellent services after all of these we have been through, but we waited for 40 minutes for food, which they did not even need to cook. We urged it for over three times, and the food quality was not even good.
I do not recommend this place for afternoon tea; there are plenty of places that do better afternoon tea and services in London.
