It has been a long time since I last updated this blog. After two deadlines, my colleagues and I decided to go to Paris for a few days. We made the train and hotel bookings almost a month in advance because it was quite challenging to make the decision on what days we could go, and it was also based on the prices of the hotel and trains. Consequently, we decided to go at the end of the month.
It was a busy day for me before departure, I had a dentist appointment in the early morning, after that, I took all the baggage to the uni for teaching, because of I was worried that I would be late for the train. Therefore, I decided to go straight to St. Pancras Station after the lecture.
Here we go, we were fully armed for boarding, after two hours, we arrived in Paris and went straight to the hotel.
Shan found a local seafood restaurant for dinner, where was busy even in the raining day. We ordered a range of foods, such as oysters, lobster, shellfish, etc.
We took photos to compare how we normally look. Di and I are often the "blackface and intimidating" look. However, Alexa and Shan are "sweet and baby face" look.
After we finished the lovely dinner, we walked back to the hotel, and these two were ready for bed.
In the second days, we went to a cafe for breakfast near Gallerie Layfette , and it was the worst cafe that I had even been in my life. Whatever food or services qualities.
Look at my sleepy face.
We went to the Gallerie Layfette
It was on sale for those cute things.
We all posted for the savage face.
After that, We went to Dior for this special decoration for Chirsmas.
For dinner, we have Di's favourite, "Hotpot."
In the last morning, we went to a restaurant for brunch, where has over 100 years of history. Luckily we came before lunchtime to avoid a long queue. The service and food qualities were brilliant, and the prices were affordable as well.
Furthermore, we went to a museum, but not many photos contribution, after Shan finished her shopping, we headed back to London. Yes, my sleepy face again.
It was a lovely experience for a short trip with my best mates, and hope you love my blog as well.
